Energy Caribe is a Colombian platform for the origination and structuring of large-scale energy infrastructure. We build value at the earliest and most decisive stage of a project's life: origination.
The Platform Model
Instead of developing a single monolithic project, Energy Caribe structures its assets as a portfolio of independent, standardized units of approximately 100 MW each.
Each unit is designed from day one to be:
- Independent. Its own SPV, its own land position, its own interconnection pathway.
- Bankable. Structured to meet the due diligence standards of international infrastructure capital.
- Flexible. Available individually, in clusters, as a joint development, or as part of a full platform acquisition.
This is the structure international funds and developers already buy. We build to match it.
Our Flagship: Los Tamarindos
Los Tamarindos, in the department of Cesar, anchors the platform: a contiguous, flat land position with strong solar resource and proximity to existing high-voltage transmission infrastructure, structured for phased development of up to approximately 1.4 GW across multiple independent assets, subject to grid evacuation capacity, regulatory conditions, and investment decisions.
How We Create Value
1. Originate. We identify land positions that combine solar resource, grid proximity, and clean title, secured through direct relationships in the region.
2. Structure. We organize each opportunity into a standardized, independent asset with defined boundaries, studies, and permitting pathways.
3. De-risk. We advance technical studies, environmental licensing, and interconnection processes to move each asset toward ready-to-build status.
4. Partner. We bring de-risked assets to international developers, infrastructure funds, and strategic partners for construction, operation, or acquisition.
